Aman graduates from preschool and Naima from crawling school

Aman graduated from his preschool class on June 3. We all had fun eating pizza and cake before the ceremony and then watching the preschoolers perform three different songs.

Naima: "One of these days, I'll get to graduate" or "yumm....look at that tassle, let me get that in my mouth"

Naima is now 7 1/2 months! Below is her 7 month photo. This past week she has started to crawl and it is fun to see her struggle to get places, and even more fun to see the great smile on her face when she finally makes it to her destination.

She also finally decided that she would eat cereal. We had a bit of a tough going at first, but now her diet consists of cereal, sweet potatoes, squash, and peas.

Jun's parents are visiting from Las Vegas for the summer, so it will be fun for the kids to spend time with them too!

I know....I eventually need to work on sitting more ladylike.

The Laughter Sequence

Naima is now 4 months!

Besides the immunization shots she got at her 4 month appointment and seeing her cry in pain as a result, she is having fun being a 4 month old.

Her neck strength is great so she can now follow mom, dad, or brother across a room. She talks a ton more and even laughs at times! She is starting to grab at things more and has just started playing in an exersaucer (thank you to the Khan family).

She is eating well and is currently at the 90% for height and 75% for weight. With her Filipino genes, this can't last that long.

She's 13 weeks!

The last 3 months have just flown by. Naima has grown so much and we've loved every single second of it....well I guess except for her first vaccination shots :( It's tough to see her crying in pain.

January Update

How cute are these kids?! Aman loves to hold Naima. He likes experimenting with new "holds." For instance, can he pick her up while he's standing? Can he make her stand up? That one required a neck hold, much like a baby kitty.

I love the foreshadowing of the second picture - Gabriel and Naima fighting. Actually, Gabe was trying to comfort Naim (as Aman says) but it wasn't working.

And then everyone is happy as clams in the last pic. Naima will have to work on lifting her head so as not to have a triple chin. Are you kidding me? She weighs nearly 13 pounds! Uf da...
